Pop-Art Sensation Corey Paige Selected for Art Basel Feature – Again
Miami Florida, November 14, 2018: For the second consecutive year, Pop-Art Sensation Corey Paige Bloomberg will be featured as a full length outdoor mural kicking off Art Basel Miami 2018 in the Wynwood Art District, just a short walk from the famous Wynwood Walls Outdoor Museum. The city will even be closing down the street in front of the Corey Paige “Love You More” mural for some of the Art Basel events.
Corey Paige’s “Love You More” design is the first of 25 Murals that will adorn the “Trackside” show during Art Basel and will remain on the building at 55 NE 24th Street Miami for the next 12 months. The Corey Paige mural has been recreated by commercial painters Galera Collective, in conjunction with Ron Bloomberg of Bloomberg Equities LLC., the building’s owner who and creator of WYMAC district (Wynwood Mural Artists Cooperative) between 23rd and 27th Streets in Miami.
“I am so excited to have been selected again to share my art in such a transformative and unbelievable mural.” stated Corey Paige. “It’s incredible to have already had one mural in Wynwood, Miami, but to have a second at 23 years old is a dream come true! Sticking with the theme of peace and love, similar to my Peace of Miami mural, my goal is for friends, family, and loved ones to take a photo in front of my Love You More mural to spread love and kindness.”
Recently graduated as an art major from Tulane University, Corey Paige has developed an expressive style all her own — combining bright and colorful imagery, icons, patterns and words. Corey Paige custom designs feature popular themes that are being sought after by teens, tweens and adults of all ages.
The Brand Liaison continues to build licensing for the emerging pop-artist. “Corey’s expressive style is perfectly suited for licensing,” states Brand Liaison President Steven Heller. “The fun and whimsical art translates to a variety of product from apparel, to pillows to stationery, gifts and wall art.”
Corey Paige wild and fun patterns are based on popular themes including teen and collegiate activities, shopping, travel destinations, college spirit and more. Starting with some decorative pillows to give to a few friends of the family in 2015, Corey became a viral sensation, receiving calls from camps throughout New England to create their apparel and other camp products. The demand for summer camp designs was high, so she began painting her art on leggings, shirts, bags, phone cases, sneakers and more. Corey recognized the strong potential of her drawings and got to work creating more designs that would attract a larger customer base, and she hasn’t stopped ever since. Corey Paige now boasts a broad collection of art and designs created for apparel, sleepwear, gifts, wall art, greeting cards, tech accessories, bedding, decorative pillows, and much more. Corey Paige is currently creating a library of designs co-branded for collegiate and professional sports teams and a line of destination themes for “name-drops” in the resort market.
