FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Atlanta, GA – March 4, 2019. Jewel Branding & Licensing (JBL) is excited to announce that Artworks! Licensing has merged with Jewel Branding & Licensing, further solidifying JBL’s position as the premiere agency for art and design-based licensing. The agency has also grown with the expansion of a new Creative Services division.

Artworks! Licensing was founded by Carol White in 2005 and has grown to a portfolio of artists who are already licensed in a wide range of product categories. As part of the merger, Carol White, President of Artworks! Licensing, has joined Jewel Branding & Licensing as VP of Art Licensing and brings 10 new artists to JBL’s client roster. White has enjoyed an extensive 25+ year career in art licensing as both an agent and licensee, with particular expertise in gift, stationery and home décor.

“We are thrilled to have Carol and her roster of clients join the JBL family,” said Julie Newman, CEO and Founder, Jewel Branding & Licensing. “The merger has enabled us to further diversify our portfolio of designers and design based brands so that we continue to be a key resource for new and existing manufacturing and retail partners.”

Another key growth area for JBL has been the recent establishment of a Creative Services division, which provides manufacturers and retailers with a suite of services and assets to streamline the design, development and go-to-market processes. Launched in 2018, JBL Creative Services offers trend forecasting, creative direction, design and product development, packaging design and retail execution with services that are tailered to each individual client. The division is spearheaded by licensing and design industry veteran, Meredith Counts . Counts is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and has held licensing and design positions with Bravado Merchandising Group, Angel Sanchez and the New York Botanical Garden.

“In a short time, our Creative Services division has grown rapidly thanks to Meredith’s strategic direction,” said Ilana Wilensky, President of Jewel Branding & Licensing. “JBL has already been engaged for several creative services projects with nationally recognized brands and manufacturers, and we’re excited to offer these services to manufacturers and retailers who can benefit from our insights and expertise.”
