LIMA Establishes Official Canadian Presence

LIMA, the global trade association for the licensing industry, announces the introduction of LIMA Canada.  According to data from the Annual LIMA Global Licensing Survey, Canada is the fifth largest licensing market in the world – as such, LIMA has established an active presence in order to create cohesiveness for the Canadian market.  Andrew Menceles, President of Toronto-based JAM Brands, Inc., has been named Director of LIMA Canada and will oversee its growth.

“The creation of LIMA Canadawill continue to build the worldwide presence of LIMA and help to enhance the significance of our global industry,” said LIMA President Charles Riotto. “We look to further grow our membership base in the Canadian market through the development of valuable regional educational and networking opportunities.”

Added Menceles, “I am very honoured and excited to be involved with LIMA, Charles, and his team, and to have the opportunity to establish and formalize the presence and importance of the licensing industry in Canada. We look forward  to building the support of all businesses and professions involved in the licensing industry in Canada.” An official LIMA Canada inaugural event will take place in the Spring of 2016.
