Job Description

The Sales Director will join the 2 year old Bonnier Consumer Products team and will report directly to the SVP Bonnier Consumer Products. The Sales Director’s role is instrumental in developing and executing the strategic licensing sales plan that will create a significant source of royalty revenue for Bonnier Corp. The Sales Director responsibilities will include identifying, targeting and selling new licensees that will generate royalty revenue. Additionally, this position will work closely with other members of the Consumer Products team, other Bonnier Corp employees and our Li & Fung partners in accordance with our Collaboration and Promotion agreement. All efforts of this role will be aimed at growing a profitable licensing business for the company.

Job Requirements

Major Responsibilities:

Identify licensing opportunities for the portfolio of Bonnier Corp trademarks
Create a set of licensee strategic sales targets
Sell new licensing programs
Close new licensing agreements


5+ years experience in selling brand licensing deals
Creating licensing deals across a broad range of merchandise categories
Working with both legal and finance terms needed to execute and manage licensing agreements
Brings relationships with key licensees that can help jump start the sales process


Comfortable working in a start-up environment
A self-starter who can quickly move into an active sales role
Team player who can create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners
