Job Description


Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, a division of Hachette Book Group, seeks a Brand Management Assistant to join our team and support our growing Licensed Publishing business on exciting media tie-in publishing programs like Fortnite, Marvel, My Little Pony, Minions, among others.


Support Licensing & Brand Management Director
Route seasonal marketing collateral, including sell sheets, title fact sheets, catalog pages, ads, and shareable graphics to various licensors for approval
Work closely with Editorial team to maintain and distribute master publication list
Assist in the management of inventory for the various programs
Process invoices and generate check requests
Administer and maintain internal share drive with all relevant sales and marketing materials
Run monthly/quarterly reporting
Provide support for cross-promotional opportunities and custom projects
Handle general administrative responsibilities which may include scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, booking travel and processing expenses

Job Requirements


College degree and relevant internship/work experience in the licensing and/or publishing industry
A familiarity with pop culture and an enthusiasm for film, television, and, of course, children’s books
Proficiency in Microsoft Office- PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proactive problem solver who takes initiative and is collaborative, creative, positive, goal-driven, and detail-oriented
