Job Description

Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for management of several clients brands within the agency. P&L responsibility. EMEA region oversight.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Spearhead the licensing and brand management functions for several clients IP's that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Directly manage IP portfolio by providing brand strategy, vision, positioning and brand architecture.
Develop and implement strategies and execute licensing and promotional / marketing programs to maximize the clients IP value via wholesale, direct-to-retail, and other licensee relationships.
Implement brand guidelines to ensure all licensees execute on the applicable brand vision.
Manage and drive existing licensee and sub-agency partnerships, for maximum revenue return.
Analyze business models, negotiate and execute new license agreements to achieve strategic objectives.
Manage licensee product strategies and partnerships to increase reach, visibility and awareness at retail.
Ensure achievement of the brand’s budget & financial goals.
Facilitate organization between cross-functional teams.
Key liaison to clients.
Analyze consumer, retail trends and information to help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth.
Partner with Chief Revenue Officer to negotiate new licensing agreements and to close deals.
Actively manage a sub-agent network in EMEA region.
Attend key trade shows as required.
Assist in new client acquisitions.

Job Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in the licensing business with responsibility for brand management, sales or licensing programs.
Proven track record in brand management and licensing sales (Licensee, Licensor, Agency, Retailer) with experience in entertainment, brands, lifestyle, character, and/or food and beverage.
Food and Beverage licensing and/or brand marketing experience a significant benefit.
Strong analytical and market research skills.
Ability to manage a P&L and develop annual financial business plans.
Experience working with key retailers and licensees in multiple categories and channels of distribution.
Must be highly motivated, able to work independently.
Sales management skills a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Must exhibit excellent attention to detail and good organization as well as follow-through.
Must have strong computer proficiency and well-versed in MS Office. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to multi-task.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout EMEA region as the role requires.
Strong International experience and understanding of the international marketplace.
Bachelor's degree required. MBA a plus.
Multilingual a positive.
