Job Description

The Public Relations Senior Manager reports directly to the Director of PR to support the PR and Marketing departments in the development and implementation of PR programs. The Senior PR manager will oversee several lifestyle brands and execute PR communications strategies for each. All activities contribute to maximizing global brand and company presence, driving consumer awareness and generating press coverage among top-tier and niche publications.

• Develop “halo” PR plan including strategy, PR pitching calendar, goals, budget and tactics.
• Develop media relations strategy, seeking placements, features and interviews in print, broadcast, trade and digital media.
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within the fashion industry.
• Produce seasonal branded press presentations and/or editor and influencer events to showcase and promote new seasonal collections and product launches.
• Manage media inquiries and sample requests.
• Create content for press releases, executive quotes, media alerts, product/story pitches and boiler plates.
• Monitor, analyze and recap PR results on a project and monthly basis. Share with ABG team, partners and investors.
• Collaborate on VIP gifting program (ordering product and packaging, shipping and monitor social posts).
• Create seeding strategies to support seasonal launches, new distribution partners and collaborations.
• Celebrity dressing: pitch brands to stylists and management teams to dress celebrities for red carpet, events and day to day activities/appearances. Ensure content generation to feature on social media and pitch to press outlets.
• Maintain contact lists for internal and external communications including invites to press and consumer-facing events, press communications, brand updates, etc.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Social and Brand teams to strategize and execute campaigns, partnerships/collaborations, new partner launches, etc.
• Manage sample inventory: check-in, photo shoot needs, closet organization, pr sample requests, showroom needs, seasonal turnover and purge.

Job Requirements

• -Bachelors degree in marketing and communications or similar degree
• -5+ years experience In PR and/or marketing
• -Agency experience a plus
• -Media, influencer and celebrity stylist relationships a must
• -ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast passed work environment
