Job Description

General Summary: The Sr. Marketing Manager - Fashion, in partnership with the cross functional team (Creative, Visual, Merchandising, Operations, Production) is responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns in Global Licensing markets. This includes the supervision of the creative process and the development of targeted local campaigns. He / She creates standards, guidelines and processes to ensure licensees are on boarded, trained and follow proper protocols. He/she works continuously to identify and understand the current consumer, drive new customers and evolve the brand.

Position Responsibilities:

• Partner with Sr. Director of Marketing to develop creative ideas for consumer marketing programs and partnerships based on industry trends and business needs
• Communicates individual market needs to Sr. Director of Marketing, including the development and training of seasonal strategies based on country specific needs
• Partner with Operations Manager of Global Licensing to develop and implement Marketing manuals and process for licensees.
• Develop brand guidelines and process to onboard all new and existing licensees to ensure protocols and brand standards are followed.
• Manage, provide guidance, feedback and support for all new country launches.
• Communicate marketing initiatives to the various departments within the Global Licensing team including Merchandising, Creative, and Operations
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners including merchandising, finance & stores
• Develop relationships with Licensee Marketing Manager to increase regional and local marketing opportunities
• Partner with Licensee Marketing Manager to develop and execute local marketing initiatives, creating awareness and loyalty in the local markets
• Ensure assets are leveraged appropriately by Global partners across seasons and media to maintain brand identity in global markets
• Review all initiatives and proposals from Global partners to ensure they will elevate the brand, drive new consumers and increase revenue at a profit
• Conduct and participate in oversees conference calls (early morning/late evening) outside of core business hours or work days.
• Territory visits to ensure licensee compliance with all marketing executions.

Job Requirements

• 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably for specialty retailer
• Bachelor's degree
• Highly motivated, self-starting individual, strategic thinker
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong computer skills; MS Word, Excel & Power Point
• Must be able to travel internationally within the position at least 20 percent, if needed
• Ability to adapt and operate within various business cultures and practices
• Ability to build strong working relationships with cross functional teams.
