Job Description

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Account Manager, Licensing and Consumer Products based in our Charlotte, NC office.

The Account Manager, Licensing and Consumer Products manages licensee accounts and serves as category manager for hard lines and collectible accounts, supporting the Fanatics online and trackside relationship in that space.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Product development and launch: work with licensees on how the mark should look on product; work with quality control and licensee to facilitate product, package, and artwork approvals
Product approvals: review submissions to ensure they are using the correct marks and that they are within their territory and meeting other contract terms; distribute to necessary parties for review and approval
Account activation (retail and other channels): work with retail group to include licensee in retail promotions; assist in development of promotions and other marketing assets to grow the partner's business
Retail promotions: determine which promotions are a fit for the licensees; collaborate with the retailers and licensee to work out promotion details
Hall of Fame: Manage Lids relationship; manage licensees for NHOF; act as liaison between inductees and licensees to create products for inductions, including managing approvals, contracts, accounting and other administrative tasks
ISC Licensing: Manage ISC Licensing relationship; manage licensees for ISC; act as liaison between ISC and licensees to create products for track events, including managing approvals, contracts, accounting, new business, analysis and other administrative tasks
Work with Fanatics to ensure product mix is correct for fan base on on-line Superstore and the Fanatics Trackside Superstore relative to assigned classifications, including ISC
Manage entire licensee renewal process
Calculate, forecast and administer royalties relative to the assigned account base
Analyze account base at the classification level to identify opportunities
Perform retail analysis on the sales performance of licensed product, including margin and sell-through analysis.
Manage business development in securing replacements for category voids; use existing relationship to help grow licensee base; manage the replacement of any licensees within any category; secure industry "buy-in"
Assist department leadership in producing reports, building various presentations, and coordinating day-to-day logistics of the business
Process credential / ticket requests
Coordinate meetings between partners
Coordinate events for teams / licensees
Race day events: Coordinate drivers wearing licensed products pre- and post-race; coordinate with licensees regarding dinners, parties, etc. hosted by the company
Travel: 10%, including weekends.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and five years licensing or retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills
Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software. Strong skills on PowerPoint and Excel, including formula development
