Job Description

Your Mission:
Category Management/Product Development, Sales, Retail Support:
Supports Category Managers on day-to-day relationships with assigned licensees to include facilitating assets, routing/gaining approvals of submissions (to support Product Development Manager) and promotion/advertising initiatives
Obtains quarterly forecasts and consistent sell-thru data from licensees
Supports Category Managers on completion of the sales/negotiation process – CRF’s (Contract Request Form, deal requisition/amendment processing, credit information, contract processing, other documents required by Finance, Legal, GIS (Information Security) or other Departments within the company
Provides all needed product and licensee information to the Retail Marketing/Sales teams to support retail road shows, events, presentations, and property initiatives
Updates retail sell-in/placement grids
Follow-ups on inquiries and requests from potential and current licensees; and execution/implementation of trade and consumer communications/events (e.g., Licensing Expo preparations)
Assists team in researching & identifying key industry trends (e.g. celebrities, popular film & television characters, social media personalities and content)
Responsibility for Special Projects as assigned

Marketing Support:
Obtains product samples for various marketing activities/events (Licensing Expo, E3, retail roadshows)
Creates monthly CP Newsletters for internal and external communication
Coordinates Trade Advertising materials for key events
Maintains Licensee Lists and sales support materials
Supports Licensee Summit organization (send evites, room set-up, presentations, etc.)
Supports all aspects of trade show prep such as Licensing Expo, BLE, Toy Fair, Comic-Con, E3

Administration:
Database maintenance (licensees, buyers, agents)
Accounts Payable management assistance: create purchase orders, new suppliers set up, etc.
Upload CRF’s to initiate contract administration

Job Requirements

Player Profile:
2-3 years of experience in licensing and brand management preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners
Capable of working with multiple managers on the team
Highly detail-oriented
Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Keynote)
Self-starter, motivated and proactive, flexible
Friendly, people oriented team player
Able to handle multiple tasks and assignments
High level of interest in category/licensing preferred – retail/wholesale and/or product development experience a plus
