Job Description

This role is for an individual that can thrive in a high-paced collaborative environment, excel at creative writing and help to strategically drive brand and company awareness.

Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of PR, the PR Coordinator has dual responsibility for supporting the development and implementation of commination strategies for ABG’s Lifestyle Portfolio.

• Support the Sr. Manager of PR in representing ABG and Lifestyle brand portfolio, which includes Juicy Couture, Aeropostale, Judith Leiber, Frederick’s of Hollywood, Jones New York, Frye, Adrienne Vittadini, Taryn Rose, Misook, Hart Schaffner Marx, and Hickey Freeman.
• Create and maintain media lists that include top-tier fashion, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, and business outlets
• Track, compile, archive and share press clips and recap reports inclusive of print, online, and broadcast on a project and monthly basis
• Draft press releases, media alerts, internal memos and announcements
• Coordinate trafficking of PR samples as needed between ABG, brand partners, and media for editorial placement opportunities, style-outs, and gifting programs
• Manage media inquiries and sample requests as well as organization of PR closets.
• Assist in seasonal seeding programs among all lifestyle brands (ordering product and packaging, shipping and monitor social posts)

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years prior work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong knowledge of media (print, online, broadcast), fashion, and industry trends
• MS Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel proficiency
• Analytical thinker who is self-motivated and able to multi-task
• Collaborative and able to thrive in a high-paced environment
