Rainbow Productions Clocks Up 60km and Raises Over £1700 for Charity

Six members of the Sales & Marketing Department at mascot manufacturer and events firm Rainbow Productions completed the British 10k London Run on Sunday 14th July, in turn raising £1732.54 for The Light Fund – the charitable body of the UK licensing industry.  Team members were Chris Stanton, Danny Smith, George Huckle, Helen Ede, Kelly Morrison and Simon Foulkes.
The 10k (6.2 mile) road race route started on Piccadilly, with the first wave of runners crossing the start line from 09:45am onwards.  Trafalgar Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey were all along the route – along with plenty of supporters.
The quickest male member of the Rainbow Productions’ team to complete the British 10k London Run was Sales Executive Chris Stanton, in a time of 47:48.  Georgina Huckle, Sales & Marketing Executive, achieved the fastest female time, completing the course in 01:10:31.
Team Captain Kelly Morrison, who initiated Rainbow Productions entering a team for the race, comments:  “Despite us knowing for months that the race was taking place in July, I don’t think any of us actually expected there to be a heat wave!  The race was a challenge for some more than others but I’m pleased to say the whole team dug deep; our supporters also dug deep into their pockets, helping us raise over £1700 for The Light Fund.
