Upcoming LIMA Webinars Give Insights on Key Topics, Global Markets

LIMA will host a series of informative new webinars in the coming weeks, including sessions on food and beverage, live events and how to conduct business in two of the world’s biggest markets for licensed goods – Japan and Brazil.
October 18 – The Ins and Outs of Food & Beverage Licensing
Food and beverage licensing is trending as one of the most lucrative categories for both licensees and licensors, and one of the most complicated and difficult to execute. Ricky Yoselevitz, Vice President of Brand Strategy and Business Development, Seltzer Licensing Group offers a look at the ins and outs of this rapidly growing category, with case study examples of successful initiatives.

November 8 – Licensing in Japan: Opportunities and Challenges
David Buckley, President of Copyrights Asia – with more than 20 years of successfully developing and managing the top licensing programs in Japan will discuss  doing business in Japan, what you need to know to get started and how to tap into the third largest  market  for sales of licensed goods.

November 15 – Location Based Entertainment/Experiences (LBE): Translating Licensed IP for the Stage or Live Events
Entertainment properties, whether for kids or older audiences, increasingly are being extended via live performances: stage shows, touring shows, exhibitions and other formats. This session, led by Veronica Hart, Senior VP of CBS Consumer Products creators of the Star Trek experiences, will share insights into the process she and her team  go through to develop their events.

November 29 – Licensing in Brazil: what you need to know  
 Brazil is the ninth largest country for sales of licensed products according to LIMA’s Annual Global Licensing Industry Survey. Celso Rafael of Lotus Global will provide deep insights and share his vast experiences into launching and managing successful licensing programs in this dynamic market.  ​
