Job Description

Develop and execute licensing strategies and plans (target industries, categories, products and licensees) for multiple categories and multiple properties on the CBS Consumer Products team.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maximize royalty revenue for group in global toy, collectible and attractions/live events categories.
• Conceive of, pitch and negotiate deals and deal structures.
• Research categories, stay abreast of trends, source new ideas and identify opportunities.
• Attend relevant trade shows.
• Act as principle in licensee partnership management in toys, games and collectibles category as well as oversee the live event/attractions business for CBS brands.
• Strategize with licensees for category growth including new channels of distribution.
• Organize with Legal & Contracts Administration, Operations and Finance team as well as Marketing within Consumer Products department.
• Spearhead forecasting and budgeting for licensee revenue.
• Develop best practices and implement processes.

Job Requirements

• 7 - 10 years Licensing or related experience.
• Ability to travel.
• Strong written and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated team player.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation and financial skills.
• Relevant experience in Licensing industry and retail marketplace.
• Specific category familiarity in attraction/live events and global toy deals a plus.
• Ability to work in a small team organization.
• PowerPoint & Excel skills helpful.
