Job Description

Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, and as part of the Trademark & Affinity Management leadership team, the Director, Key Accounts will be the primary licensing program liaison to key licensees and service providers, including Nike, Top of the World, Barnes & Noble and Lids. Serve as lead contact for all apparel artwork and product approvals. Participate in product development and line review sessions with key licensees. Attend sales and marketing meetings with licensees and key retail accounts. Assist AVP in developing and implementing business strategies, marketing efforts and promotional programs in concert with key accounts. Facilitate communication between key accounts and the university, including sharing calendar events, setting meetings, and coordinating an annual review/report. Participate in game-day and athletic venue merchandising planning and activations. Work with marketing rights holder to develop and coordinate merchandising programs for university and athletic sponsors.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Retail Merchandising or an equivalent combination of education and related experience; 5-10 years of experience in apparel licensing, merchandising and marketing, or related fields and experiences; key account oversight responsibilities; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; able to manage a variety of tasks at the same time; ability to create and present reports to a variety of internal and external audiences.

Master’s degree in Marketing, Sport Industry/Management, or related experience preferred.

Salary

$75,000-85,000
