• Job Description We are looking for a Senior Director of Apparel Decoration and Personalization. Due to our quick, steady growth and overall prospective partner interest, we are expanding our team and growing our product offerings. We are seeking a senior level manager to lead all aspects of our online apparel decorating business. We aim to find a unique individual that has both a daily efficient production minded mentality/abilities coupled with the vision to dramatically grow this business thorugh product and client extensions. The successful candidate must fully understand the heat seal, decorating/personalization business. S/he will be responsible for building and growing this operation for our existing partners, expanding it into substantial demand to other existing partners as well as prospects, and providing services beyond our current service areas. This individual will build and lead a team of approximately 60 full time staff members and 800-1000 temporary members as business demands.
  
  The successful candidate must be self-directed with an operational mindset. S/he must be a highly conceptual team leader who is strategic, energetic, creative, results-oriented, and committed to building a highly successful business. S/he should be driven and passionate about uncovering ways to add value to this new and growing business as well as selling it to existing and prospective partners. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of achieving goals and hitting deadlines.

  Responsibilities:
  
  ' Build and manage all aspects of our online customization/personalization business.
  ' Further develop and expand processes, procedures and equipment to advance GSI's capabilities
  ' Through-put and capacity planning: Resource allocation and management to meet demand capacity.
  ' Equipment utilization: Determine most effective equipment investment and ensure equipment is being optimized to capture continuous and efficient uptime.
  ' Process management: Manage the order process to lean and agile manufacturing principles while providing high and flawless levels of service.
  ' Quickly gain a solid understanding of our company's offerings, competitive advantages, market positioning and competitive landscape.
  ' Develop and implement an effective vehicle for understanding our partners' needs as it relates to this business. Proactively research solutions for those needs and communicate to all key internal stakeholders.
  ' Develop and build key partnerships internally and externally. Seek out ways to grow your business to generate incremental revenue. Assist in improving the overall customer experience by building the 'GSI Effect.'

• Requirements Experience:
  
  -10+ years of proven success in garment production and finishing. Ideally in the licensed sports / sporting goods business.
  -Must be very knowledgeable in various decorating techniques: heat seal, twill, and sublimation.
  -Proven success working in a WMS and warehouse operation.
  -Must have both leadership and hands-on experience in creating a vision, implementing a strategy and driving business results.
  -Strong willingness to take calculated risks and to exceed internal and external expectations.
  -Proven track record of building, managing, retaining and motivating a dynamic, production team.
  -Must have a keen understanding of the various aspects of a P&L and experience in managing forecasting exercises.
  -Ability to work in an intense, deadline driven yet fluid environment.
  -Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  -Must possess exceptional ethics, excellent judgment, and a desire to win.
  -Must possess a superior attention to detail.
  -Familiarity and understanding of sports leagues such as NFL, NHL & MLB.
