Mattel Names Ynon Kreiz as Chairman
Mattel names Ynon Kreiz Chairman, succeeding Christopher Sinclair, who earlier announced he would retire. Kreiz, who joined Mattel’s board in June 2017, is former CEO of the digital short-form video company Maker Studios, which was sold to Disney in 2014. Kreiz also led the independent TV production company Endemol Group and serves on the board of Warner Music Group. Kreiz is the most recent of several high-profile appointments Mattel has made, including the hiring of former Google executive Margo Georgiadis as CEO last year to succeed Sinclair.
