Changes at Mattel: Sven Gerjets, ex-n.io Innovation, named Chief Technology Officer; Joe Euteneuer, ex-Sprint, appointed Chief Financial Officer, replacing Kevin Farr, whose departure was announced in July.
Members Only, Nick ‘90s Launch Apparel
Two time-honored brands are coming together for limited edition bomber jackets as part of a collection that will expand in 2018. Members Only, whose racer jackets were a 1980s hallmark, launched men’s and women’s $200 bomber jackets replete with Nick ‘90s characters including Rugrats, Hey Arnold! and The Ren & Stimpy Show. The jackets are being sold through the Members Only web site and will be available at Macy’s, Zumiez, PacSun and other retailers this fall. The deal is among the most recent for Nickelodeon since launching the Nick ‘90s brand last year. It also recently struck a deal with Kid Robots for a 12-piece mini-figure collection of Nick ‘90s characters.
